Isabella of France(Daughter of Philip IV) Was promised to Edward at a young age in order to eventually settle ongoing land disputes between England and France.

1307-1327 Edward II of England- deposed- forced to resign, was believed to be a weak leader which allowed the kingdom to go into turmoil, had to resign himself in order to give the crown to his son Edward III and not an alternate candidate.
